WORLD ENVIRONMENT: CIWEM’S NEW DIGITAL MAGAZINE APP

Available on iPads and Android tablets, you won’t want to miss an issue of World Environment, CIWEM’s new digital magazine.

On World Environment Day, the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) is pleased to announce the launch of its new quarterly digital magazine and app, World Environment, bringing you challenging and informative features and opinions about the environmental issues that really matter.

CIWEM’s new app offers a bespoke interactive experience, with content from our original print magazine, The Environment, policy updates, additional articles from the likes of Geographical, as well as original comment from leading environmentalists, all wrapped into a sleek and modern user-friendly design. This edition features leading environmentalist Tony Juniper, stunning images from CIWEM’s hugely successful 2013 Environmental Photographer of the Year competition, and much more.

CIWEM’s Director of Policy, Justin Taberham, said: “We hope that World Environment will expand and grow the global audience for CIWEM’s messages on resource consumption, sustainability, and the many other environmental challenges we face in our rapidly changing world. Fast, economic and paperless, digital delivery is the perfect medium for this magazine.”

“World Environment Day is one of the biggest annual celebrations for positive environmental action in the world. This year’s theme is Think.Eat.Save. – anti-food waste and unnecessary resource consumption – and has CIWEM’s full support.”

World Environment is currently available for the iPad1, iPad2, iPad Retina, and all Android tablets; and can be downloaded for free worldwide on the Apple AppStore, and the Google Play Store.

Mobile and Kindle Fire HD versions of World Environment will soon be available. For screen shots, download instructions, and more information, visit: www.ciwem.org/worldenvironment.
