Renault promotes eco-friendly cars at RHS events

Renault has teamed up with the Royal Horticultural Society for a series of experiential activities to promote the launch of the car company’s new Z.E. electric vehicle range.

The activities, created by Pulse Group marketing agency, are taking place at RHS events throughout the summer including the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show (on until July 8 2012), where Renault is official sponsor of the Conceptual Garden Category.

The exhibition space replicates an eco-friendly garden, complete with garage fascia, displaying new models from the Z.E. range. The stand will also be fitted with a variety of energy-saving accessories including a permeable driveway, solar lights and recycled plant pots.

Attendees will be invited to test drive the Renault Twizy at one of the National locations of the Renault Z.E. Tour and enter a prize draw to win RHS membership. Hessian gift bags will also be distributed along with seeds of plants used in the Renault Garden.

Mike Spicer, chief executive of Pulse Group, says: “We wanted the creative to highlight Renault’s green credentials and designed the space using solely energy-saving materials to demonstrate how Renault practices what it preaches.”
