US government its tyrannical behavior

by Michael Smith (Veshengro)

The government of the United States of America, always ranting and raving against tyrants, unless they suit its aims, uses tyrannical tactics itself as regards to WikiLeaks supporters, for instance.

Recently the US government subpoenaed Twitter to obtain the data of all WikiLeaks supporters, that is to say, followers, on Twitter. It is always those double standards of the Unites States that causes it to be heated by most of the rest of the world.

In this case, as so often with them, it definitely is a case of the request of “God defend me from my friends; from my enemies I can defend myself.”

In Britain this can be seen on an almost daily basis in the way that the “special relationship” seems to relegate the United Kingdom and its government into the role of a poodle towards the USA.

More than once already British citizens and UK permanent residents have been snatched from the the very streets of this country's capital (and other places, no doubt) by the CIA's own snatch squads and then taken, without their consent nor that of the UK government, outside the country for interrogation.

The majority of CIA operations in the UK are not cleared with any official of the British government and are but clandestine; not that that surprises me one bit as regards the company.

However, such actions are sanction by Langley and, so it must be, the White House and, theoretically, the very President of the United States. This therefore, points to the fact that either the President is involved, whichever party color he may wear, or that he does not know what is going on and someone acts in his name.

The latter appears to be more than likely and this also would explain why it does not seem to matter one iota who is the president of the States nor what party he is from as regards to the policies of the country.

The illegal detention center at Guantanamo Bay on Cuba was supposed to be closed already a while back for President Obama, when he took office, said that that was to be so. However, it has not happened. Why?

Because others really make the policy, it would appear, and the president has just become a figurehead, an elected king, quasi. A cabal is in operation, it would appear, that has only the interests of something else in mind and not that of the United States or anyone else.

The support for regimes that are in breach of every single human right in the book and the use of extraordinary rendition and the use of those countries as places where to interrogate subjects points to the fact that a tyranny of some sort has taken over in the Unites States and seems to have been at work for some time now.

You cannot preach at others while your own track record is far from clean and ethical, but that is exactly what America is doing and it is for that fact that it is hated by most of the rest of the world, and even in countries where some of the politicians put on a smiling face towards the US.

You also cannot impose your version of democracy on people when they realise that really your democracy is nothing. The American people think that they elect their president; the truth is they do not. Not in the smallest bit. The US President is elected in the same way as is the Holy Father in the Vatican, by an conclave. In the case of the American President it is called the electoral college. What they study I do not know but that's what it is called and it is those that are in that “college” who decide really as to who is going to be the President of the United States. Habemus Papam, they might as well declare afterwards.

Now changes are in the pipeline in the USA for a “Backdoor Trojan” to be used to monitor the Internet activities of the American Sovereigns – yes, all “citizens” of the USA are supposedly sovereigns (no, not gold coins) – and other acts are in the pipeline too to monitor political and other activities, such as environmental activism and put those into the “terrorism” category.

Either they are all paranoid and scared of their own shadows or someone is on a trip to control everything what the American people do, and as far as I am concerned that is tyranny.
