NESEA's 2008 Green Buildings Open House on October 4th

  • Energy Smart Buildings - what does it mean?
  • Increase energy-efficiency - how do we do it?
  • Reduce use of fossil fuels - is it possible?
Get your questions answered on Saturday, October 4, at NESEA's 2008 Green Buildings Open House, hosted by the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) as part of the American Solar Energy Society’s National Solar Tour.

Over 600 home and building owners in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware will open their doors to demonstrate ways to reduce energy consumption and generate energy from clean, renewable sources. The event offers a unique opportunity for people to witness green building practices firsthand. Building owners are on site to describe energy efficient features and answer questions. Tours also provide information on utility, state and federal incentives for installation of efficient, renewable energy solutions.

Interest in green building technologies is growing rapidly. Take advantage of this opportunity to tour homes and other buildings to see how energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies and methods are working in your local area.
