UK search for the people who make our Community feel CARED4

People from around the UK are being called upon to nominate people from their community in a campaign designed to promote random acts of kindness this winter.

The Nissan CARED4 Competition, which aims to find people from all over the UK whose work in their neighbourhood or local community goes unrecognised asks you...

Does someone you know go the extra mile to make your local community a better place? It may be someone who puts the needs of others before their own or spends many long hours working for little reward.

Maybe your chosen person campaigns tirelessly to improve things for everyone in and around your town, or just does the little things that make such a big difference for those who struggle to help themselves.

The Nissan CARED4 Competition aims to find these often unsung heroes and is calling on residents across the country to nominate people from their town or city who deserve to be recognised for their work. So, if you know someone who you feel represents the great community spirit, visit http://facebook.com/NissanGB or http://www.cared4competition.com to find out more and information on how you can nominate them.

The person judged to be the kindest will be presented with a Cared4 Nissan Qashqai car with two runners up landing a relaxing weekend away for two. The entries will be guest judged by humanitarian, David Jamilly, Founder of Kindness UK, which aims to promote, share and unite kindness everyday of the year. Of the CARED4 Competition, David said; “Kindness and kind acts, towards people, animals, nature and the environment, are what make the difference between a ‘me society’ and a ‘we community’. I am delighted to be a judge for the CARED4 Competition, which encourages mindfulness of the value of kindness and celebrates all the unsung kind heroes who enhance our communities.”

For those kind enough to nominate someone from their community, they could receive their own Random Acts of Kindness that Nissan CARED4 is giving out throughout November; including free valets a local Nissan garage for any car, shopping vouchers and much more.

A Nissan spokesman, says; “We’re happy to be representing this great campaign, which will hopefully see plenty of caring, local residents come forward to nominate someone who deserves to win the Cared4 Nissan Qashqai prize. We’ll be celebrating random acts of kindness ourselves with lots of activities going on at the dealership, including free valets drawn at random from people who nominate our regions’ kindest people.”

Nissan CARED4, due to roll out to all Nissan dealerships by March 2012, has been designed to give used car customers the same experience as buying new.

The new programme makes four customer promises. The first is detailed checks as standard including full vehicle history, for added peace of mind.

The second is a minimum 12 months’ warranty, offering the reassurance of a manufacturer-approved warranty on vehicles less than seven years old or under 75,000 miles.

The third is the Exchange Promise, under which buyers are given the confidence of a 30 day/1,000 mile vehicle exchange. The fourth and final promise is the You + Nissan CARE commitment that includes Nissan roadside assistance service and repair price match guarantee and a free courtesy car, allowing customers to experience how used feels like new with CARED4.
