The Duggars open to having more children

It was only late June when Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar were finally able to bring their 19th child — baby Josie — into their home, after nearly six months of hospitalizations and delays following her premature birth in December 2009. However, despite of this the couple revealed that they are open to continuing to grow their litter.
“People think we are overpopulating the world,” Jim Bob told media representatives, “but we are only following our convictions.” Yeah! Right! Help!!!
The Duggars, supposedly, are devout Christians,and in particular, Baptists, and do not use any contraception and will have more children if it happens. They also will not practice any abstinence either, it would appear.
With the problems our Planet is facing and the fact that, and this can be seen from the incident with the Duggars' latest child, most children in the developed world nowadays survive more than two children should be something frowned upon if not even – dare I say this – legislated against.
While, in ages past, children were needed as additional breadwinners and as an insurance in the old age, and many were required for at least some to survive this is no longer necessary and, in fact, puts strain on the already fragile world.
Not that the likes of this Baptist family, or the ones that keep producing because of a nice welfare check at the end – the more kids the more welfare payments and food stamps, etc. – would ever consider or understand it.
While the Duggars claim to be Christians they have regard only, it would appear, for themselves and their religious convictions and beliefs. That their very actions might infringe on the liberties of others and the resources available to others, at home and abroad, appears to be none of their concern. Hypocrites all!
