But, says pastor's colleague, it is the Muslims' fault not ours. We put the Quran on trial and condemned it to be burned.
Sorry, they put a book on trial? They are out of their tiny little minds, it would appear, and appear to be in need of some serious help.
What planet are Terry Jones and his ilk are actually on? And calling them pastors, let alone Reverends, definitely does not compute and would be giving the wrong signals. Those people have no right to be called ministers of religion.
Those people are evil and deranged but claim this to be the Muslims' fault, basically saying that they should not get upset by the burning of their holy book. What they have done is causing hatred and they knew this. But it is now the fault of the aggrieved and not of the aggressor, namely those Bible-bashing maniacs.
I would like to see the reaction of Jones and Co would it have been the Bible that had been burned by some Muslims. No doubt those bigots would then have called for the bombing of the country where that had happened.
The attacks and deaths that have come about as to the burnign of the Quran at the Florida church must be laid squarely at the door of “pastor” Jones and his fellow conspirators and agitators. In all honesty and according to laws charges of incitement to religious hatred should be brought against the perpetrators of the Quran burning and their supporters.
People such as those so-called, and more than likely self-proclaimed and -appointed pastors, gives a bad name to the Christian faith in the same way as the Zionists paint every Jew in a bad light or the Taliban give a bad name to Islam. It is for the reason of bigots such as Terry Jones and his ilk that I do not believe in the ways of the church at all.
Narrow-minded bigots such as those have given the world the Crusades and many other wars of religion, including the English Civil War, the Thirty Year War, and many others.
It is not surprising with the likes of those and others that are equally misguided and those that wish to force their beliefs on other that we have a world that is in the state that it is in.
It is also the like of those Christian fundamentalist fanatics that cause so many people to fight Nature and thereby destroying the environment. They claim God's message that “man is to have dominion over the Earth” as having the right to do what he wants to the resources of the Planet. However, dominion in the biblical sense here does not mean domination but being a steward of Creation. Not that the those people would understand that.
It is those that also believe that there are things written between the lines of the texts in the Bible and it is real fun to question them as to some of the texts, namely those texts that show that the Bible may be a nice guidebook but cannot be the literal Word of God.
We are to believe that Adam and Eve were the only people on Earth in the beginning and they had two sons, Cain and Abel. After Cain then killed Abel what do we learn in the Word? That Cain went into another land and took unto himself a wife. Sorry? Duh? Where does the wife come from?
And this carries on like that... but if the likes of Terry Jones are to be believed then the Bible is the only book that has a right to be called a holy book and that only Christianity is the true religion.
Do not the Muslims claim the same about their book and their faith? They do! Which one is true?
