“People from all walks of life and all ages are really getting stuck into growing vegetables. Whether it's on an allotment, in a small kitchen garden or simply a few tubs on the patio, anyone can grow veg and fruit and reap the rewards. We want to impress upon everyone that salads and quick grow veg can sown late into the summer and still rapidly produce crops.” remarks MD, Martin Harvey.
“We hope we can build on our medal winning success from previous years too. We'll be showcasing oriental veg, soft fruits and walls of strawberries, herbs and salads.” he added.
A large fruit cage constructed from recycled floor timbers will feature raspberries under planted with strawberries, and three inspirational double-sided, vertical gardens, will demonstrate how to grow strawberries, salads and herbs where space is limited.
This year Marshalls will be featuring new, FIGO Universal Frame Connectors – a quick and easy way to build a garden frame or structure – even with cane of differing thickness. The flexible, rubber Figo Connectors will grip canes firmly and securely, to create strong, sturdy, stable frames anywhere in the garden.
