Peely Bin from Lakeland – Product Review

Peely Bin
Made for & imported by Lakeland
Lakeland Ref 10879
Price: GBP 14.89

While this bin for your veggie peelings may be a little more expensive than the plastic composting caddies that your local authority provides, either either free of for a few bucks, the Peely Bin is much more stylish and definitely looks much better on your kitchen counter or the windowsill then does the green or gray plastic thing.

Made from quality stainless steel with a sand-color enamel outside coating this is a real stylish bin that will go with any kitchen design.

I personally would probably use the Peely Bin just for peelings and something like those plastic things from the council for the rest of the food waste destines for the compost heap, or in my case the composting bin, ate the bottom of the garden.

The Peely Bin made for (though I do not know the country of manufacture) and imported by Lakeland will look good on any kitchen counter or kitchen windowsill and will get you some distance to going “green” by keeping those vegetable peelings out of the landfill and giving you good soil in the form of compost to add to your garden beds to grow more veggies.

This is yet another great product from the people at Lakeland in the English Lake District.
